Where is Human Race heading by 2050? What will become of our race? Most people would shrug their shoulders with a blank look on their face! I was chatting with a good friend of mine a few days ago, she insists that she wants to have babies right now. I asked her if she is concerned about human existences and struggles in next 100 years with tremendous natural disasters and possible multiple epidemic outbreaks due to bio weapon developments on genetic tools in severe environmental stresses. She said everything on climate change is bogus. She blindly believes our current human race will be here for eons. And our next conversation immediately switched to Asian Hedge Funds with rapid cash flow rates - she commented that only economics matters in overall picture of immediate returns in Green Dollars.
Of course she didn't know that it only took human race last 50 years to destroy 60% of total environmental habitats with petrol related products, fertilizers, chemicals, and other technological advancements! It's hard to imagine the impact of another 50 years knowing how much garbage we create daily with Asian Booms which consists 60% of the entire population on current earth in next 10 years. While I was visiting The Paris Natural History Museum, I was joking about why don't they just display a pair of stuffed human bodies as well in display case as the last mammal that has just vanished on this planet. According to their bio-watch, majority of rain forests will disappear by 2050. So what will happen to Oxygen Level then on earth? With Other Groups who give brighter perspectives, they believe the rain forests would last 100 years. Either way, the future become a Big Question Mark!
Currently, Brazil contains about 3.5 million km2 of tropical forest. This is equivalent to 30% of the world's total. The rain forests absorbs huge amount of CO2 output in our current earth sphere. Without the green defense, floods and draughts will alternate with higher frequencies while CO2 will stay in the cities much longer for summer heat with dust storms.
In Indonesia, powerful families allied with government rulers control large and highly valuable timber concessions. These forests are being rapidly liquidated, at enormous profit.
In Brazil, many of the rural poor are moving to cities for work, and not finding it. Productive farmland is controlled by a wealthy elite with a long history of land ownership, and so many of the rural poor are landless. By opening its frontier – the Amazon forest - to its landless poor, Brazil seeks to provide a safety valve for what otherwise might be an explosive political situation.
In many areas, poor people have few options to make income, and forests have few protectors, and so land is cleared for agriculture and valuable timber is sold for profit.
Increasing in overall temperature of various cities also caused more frequent forest fires lately on earth sphere.
